Next year my sophmore year of high school i am going to be taking a
manufacturing class. In this class we are able to build anything that
we want that we are able to. the idea of the class is to learn how to
manufacture items and seel them for a profit. and that is exactly waht
we will be doing. the problem is that i cannot think of what i would
like to make. I will have basically any tool avaliable to do
practically anything. such things as metal turners, cnc machine, cad
programs, all basic hand tools, air tools, power tools, painting
equipment, wood working equipment, and pleanty more. My question to
you is to recommend some things that i could build to sell. I have
basic skills in pretty much everything, more advanced in woodworking
things, but i can run almost all of the tools. I would just liek some
ideas of things that you would buy and you think others would also
that would not be concievable to build for a 16 year old.

If you have machining facilities, you could make model Stirling ( hot
air )engines. You could either copy an existing design or maybe design one
of your own. An engine that runs of a night light is a fascinating thing to watch, and at
worst you will find a sale on E-Bay for them. They make an interesting and challenging build.
